I was so excited when our home Church began advertising affordable intensive "mini seminary trainings" to assist in developing ministries
God may have placed within your own heart... including
"Life Counseling"
Especially since I am always desiring to become more equip to more effectively address so many frequent life impacting encounters with hurting people in need placed within my life path
each day and at every location I find myself at
for as long as I can remember.
( including myself and family )
But especially with more intensity and impact since 1998
when I first became involved in online communication
resulting in the development of what others began to refer to as
"Entertainment Ministry"
But based only on amateur life survival skills personally experienced
as having multigenerational family history in the entertainment industry
and the same with ministry outreach involvement
( and the same within extended families of recently discovered musician father )
All of which if not nurtured with educated balance
and suitably matched professional mentorship
is even more of a challenging and potentially dangerous combination
from introducing spiritual light into unwelcoming spiritual darkness
aka
gradually developed dysfunctional lifestyle habits
such as that I have become aware of
and pray for help to overcome soas to help others afterwards
aka
sleep deprivation
( RECENTLY HEALED FROM THIS AFTER 14 YRS... THANK GOD ! )
hiatis from developing and utilizing personal gifts and talent
lack of fun and leisure
overwhelming resources available to distribute
causing career paralyzation
fiancial struggles
temptation to compromise and /or settle
for inappropriate unequally yoked relationships
After recieving confirmation that my friends most aware of this need
were specifically praying for this opportunity with me also,
I was confident that God would most definitely provide.
That is, up until when the class series started,
and I had still not recieved any response back from our church
which of course caused me to become discouraged and disappointed
...for a minute
Apparantly God had other plans to provide more suitable mentorship.
Imagine that, God had better plans than mine ?
lol
Because within the same week I recieved an invitation to accompany
one of my dearest entertainment ministry friends
through a professional, personalized, focused
"Life Coaching Course"
at no cost to me
( other than further embarassment from further life exposure..lol )
and yesterday
I recieved a phone call from
The HO LYWOOD Prayer Network
HollywoodPrayerNetwork.Org
with notification that they are assigning me with a mentor
who is familiar with entertainment ministry from involvement and experience with major film and music production studios
WHAT A BLESSING !!!
