A gentleman began to walk through the courtyard stage location with two ANGEL girls 9 and 6 yrs old from New Jersey who were immediately so intrigued with my chimes that I presented them with my collection of percussion instruments to play with resulting in them unexpectedly accompanying me with their talent for another few more songs from my set list. When I noticed "Close to You" by the Carpenters coming up next I almost skipped it considering these young little ANGELS would most likely prefer Katy Perry but I decided since they were so engaged it might be an inspirational opportunity to expose them to this classic song You can imagine my surprise when after a couple of notes the gentlemen informed me that their uncle wrote this song in addition to many others also performed by The Carpenters including "We've Only Just Begun" which is also on my list, since I perform for many weddings.
