Since 2012 I've been praying to discover a church located in ‪#‎NewportBeach‬ specifically interested in my own community including Balboa Peninsula‬. Last week a letter was placed on my door and all others in my neighborhood with an invitation to visit‪ Viewpoint Church‬ today for breakfast signed by internationally known relationship expert Dr. ‪Roger Tirabassi‬. I just happen to know him and his co pastor wife multifaceted recovery expert youth focused motivational speaker ‪life coach BeckyTirabassi‬ author of ‪Let Prayer Change Your Life‬ and‪ The Burning Heart Contract‬  www.changeyourlifedaily.com/about familiar from when I attended affiliated Rock Harbor Church affiliated with Mariners Church between 1999 and 2009. So considering their location is within God Wink walking distance from where I live it seemed like a Divine appointment for me to attend but my availability wasn't confirmed until 1am this morning if not for myself then at least to experience in order to share with the 22 neighbor friends God woke me up several times during the night with inspiration to specifically create a list with their names and to add some I had forgotten about to my virtual prayer tour. However in the morning the purpose of that list became a frustrating mystery since there was no time to invite anyone at all before the service began at 10am aka 3am musician time LoL But I'm glad I forced myself to attend by myself anyway since guess what the entertaining and enthusiastically delivered heartfelt message topic just happened to be ? "Pray For Your Neighbors...Know them by their names" LISTEN to the 3/20/16 message from the website link beginning with creative relevance of the popular 1960s TV Show encouraging Biblical values produced by the ordained minister host in that infamous sweater and sneakers LoL aka "Mister Roger's Neighborhood" at http://subsplash.com/viewpointchurch/v/868ad1d READ the Viewpoint Church story at their website describing how their first service was on Balboa Peninsula at the 32nd Street lifeguard tower where they are also inviting anyone interested to attend 2016 GOOD FRIDAY at 5:30pm and EASTER SUNDAY SUNRISE SERVICE at 6:30am They may or may not have an additional 10am service at their current Sunday service location at 883 West 15th street between Placentia and Monrovia which was previously the West Newport Community Center now Pacifica Christian School near Coastline Community College.

OCTD Is Cancelling Bus Routes to Village

The bus company, OCTD, is planning on cancelling service to the Village. This will have a huge impact on all types of service providers on merchant employees, house cleaners for weekly rentals, etc.

Please take a moment to email Dave Simpson at OCTD and express your concern that this will have a huge negative impact for our area and to strongly reconsider. The more emails he gets the more likely they will continue service.
