While fasting...
Literally EVERY TIME ...lol
EVERY commercial on Tv and billboard Ad I pass
is dripping with EVERY kind of pizza, juicy burgers and melted cheese something or another
Plus
People from EVERYwhere offer delicious homemade delicacies
or fabulous complimentary venue dining experiences
or business related catering / wine tasting / food pairing events
Or the timing happens to fall on holidays that feature
culture celebrations aka food feasts...lol
Such as yesterday...
a box of chocolate macadamian nuts a client brought back from Hawaii
and today...
During an appointment to assist a friend
create a website for her non profit
As soon as I entered her home office
I was hit with the amazing aroma
and dinner invitation for
HOMEMADE
Chicken Tortilla Soup !
I had to ask for "a taste to go"
so I could at least enJOY tomorrow
lol
But when I got home I discovered
that since while fasting I usually have a cup of broth for dinner
so tonight I added some skimmed broth from Catherine's chicken tortilla soup
and it was delicious !!!
So at least I didn't miss out on
" the taste of "
a Cinco De Mayo cultural cuisine celebration afterall
lol
