tonight after being exhausted from working @ my friend karen's talent agency, TheEventConsultants.com, my 17 yr old daughter Christiana and i went shopping for her "miracle choir trip to hawaii" this week and for my son julienne's 16th bday party tomorrow.
during our adventure, (including finding the exact metal Bible i wanted for one of his gifts & awesome scripture bookmark on $ale @ costa mesa calvary's chapel store )..we noticed a pretty young lady with long red hair and beautiful green eyes crying in conversation with a seemingly empathetic man on the steps near nordstrom rack @ southcoast metro.
she was holding a raggedy cardboard sign with photos of her little girl emili, requesting assistance to purchase gifts for her 5 yr birthday tomorrow.
i asked her what she would like, and she said "anything frilly, girly or princess-like".
before i knew it, we were in marshalls and as i listened to the relatable story of her struggles with 4 children now in unfortunate circumstances, i continued to pray that God would help us find her something "divine" that was fabulously extravagant, velvety, lacey and of course, my favorite color PURPLE and on $ale ?.
and wouldnt you know...what we found was... not only the most beautiful purple velvet lace princess ballerina dress i've ever seen ( on $ale for $15 ) but also a purple/lavender complete princess angel costume even including the headpiece and wings !
( on $ale for $7 )...and best of all.. purple is also emili's favorite color !
WOW God is so full of surprises !!!...
which by now really shouldnt be a surprise..i suppose ?

the other miracle is that my daughter actually found most of all the items she was looking for within the half hour we had left after this unexpected experience....also all on $ale
and, when we went to the bakery for juliennes bday cake, i "just happened" to also find a big scooby doo birthday candle, that will be of special sentimental value,
embellishing the card i made for him as a reminder of the song i made up and sang to him ever since he "was little"...
the lyrics are short, but i know how to draaaaaag out tunes when i need to..lol...
ok, here it goes...
" scooby dooby dooby, mommy's little cutie"
but on the card i x'd out the "little" and replaced it with "16 yr old"...ha ha
well... i guess you'd just have to be here..
lol
but you cant be, since his house arrest doesnt allow visitors ..
except for his probabtion officer larry, that is,
who was just here today nofifying me of how well he is doing in "the program".
...i sure can't wait to see ( and share ) how God develops the fufillment of His promise to "transform ALL things for good"
