i asked God for wisdom yesterday regarding the issue of barely even being able to tolerate years FULL OF PAINS
...let alone EVER imagining "thanking Him for them ????"
the answer i recieved was
" you can be grateful that I'm utilizing your PAIN ...for other's GAIN"
i never thought of that
but now i am reflecting on how He has utilized the pain of others.. for my gain
He knew only those with similar experience could have ever penetrated my unreachable space, and lovingly orchestrates circumstances to bring such ones into my life
mostly always just barely in time....but He knows best
as He has demonstrated over and over again
which is something else to be grateful for

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Do you know the problem with many of us when we obey God? We murmur about it while we are doing it. And God is taking notes because half-hearted obedience isn’t obedience at all. Remember God is looking at the heart, not the deed (see 1 Samuel 16:7). Do you know why we murmur? Because we have taken our eyes off of Calvary. Jesus didn’t murmur on the way to the cross. Oh no. Do you thank God for the pains in life? Or only the gains?
